DED Talk: Grief

Join Tilde for this webinar-style talk to learn about grief, how it manifests, and ways to process it. We generally have a poor understanding of grief as a society, and that can cause some Big Feelings.

The big message is that the way grief shows up is involuntary. Remember that you won’t be able to control it any more than you can hold water in your hand. Let’s talk about it!

This event is for everybody.

Living Funeral Ceremony

A virtual ceremony to enrich life by bringing death into clear and immediate view. Slow down to contemplate your life and death during your own mock funeral. It’s part saying goodbye, part somatic death meditation. This ceremony can help put things into perspective.

The Living Funeral Ceremony is online in a small group. There is no sharing required, but it is encouraged. If you’d rather have a private ceremony, we’ll find a date/time/place that works best for you.

Breathwork: Friday Pick-Me-Up

Pick-Me-Up \ ˈpik-mē-ˌəp \: Something that stimulates or restores.

Welcome to Friday Pick-Me-Up, where we’re saying hello to the weekend through your breath. Let’s breathe to feel good, to stimulate, and to restore.

What is breathwork?

Tap into the body through this active meditation. Maybe you want to reduce stress, navigate tough emotions, or care for yourself.

Here’s what you can expect: We’ll gather online and review the active breathing pattern, share what you can expect throughout the session, and then we’ll begin breathing. There will be music and Tilde facilitation throughout. Often is a theme for the session that you’ll be invited to contemplate (e.g., breathwork for grief).

If you’d rather have a more personalized session, book a private at a time/date that works for you.

Death Talk

Melancholy is in the air as the weather cools — can you feel it too? Maybe community will help. Let’s talk about death, grief, and anything else that comes to mind.

This is the first Death Talk since our launch, so we would love to see your face and get to know you a little better! Typically in these we talk about death and anything related to it. Participants take turns sharing and listening, with Tilde facilitation. As always, there’s no pressure to participate — you can tune in just to listen!

Free. For everyone (but tread lightly if you’re experiencing intense grief).
